Students at Delmarva's schools donated more blood this year than ever before! Thank you to the 67 high schools and 10 colleges who hosted 107 blood drives. You donated a record-breaking 6,340 pints of blood! This is a 16% increase over last year's total. On behalf of thousands of local patients on Delmarva, THANK YOU! 
Thank you to the 15 schools who hosted life saving blood drives last month. The 824 pints of blood you donated will help many seriously ill and injured people in local hospitals! You may be on vacation in the summer, but the blood supply never takes a vacation. Please help the summer blood supply by donating blood. You can help our local hospitals and earn donation points for your school. The Hero Program runs until August 31. Encourage your friends and family to donate blood throughout the summer months. Be sure to fill out a Hero Card when you donate blood at one of our convenient locations. Call 1-888-BLOOD-8 to schedule an appointment, or visit www.delmarvablood.org and click on "Donate Blood" to request an appointment. |
